Here's one from a mostly birding trip to Vancouver last winter. This bird was hanging around a public park and
was very approachable with kids dispensing fist fulls of duck food!
Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS II on EOD 5D Mark IV
1/2500 at f/5.6, ISO 800
Processed in LR CC with some minor local exposure adjustments
Cheers!

Exposure look about perfect. I would juice up the colors a bit as it looks flat to me.

Excellent 1:1 crop Dorian, mighty spiffy, well exposed and the colors and the iridescence is outstanding, clean BG, slam dunk good, very good!

I would love the opportunity to get this close to a Wood Duck! I like the clean BG, feather details, composition and exposure. Very nice image Dorian!

I know exactly where you took this!
Lovely portrait with lots of good, sharp details.
Great BG. Exposure look spot on (these birds are an exposure nightmare). You have shown the iridescence perfectly.

Wow, this one really stands out. A perfect species for a tight portrait.
The light and a perfect exposure display those colors in a excellent way. Great details, BG and comp too! Nothing to fault from me.
