Nice one John. Looks like you got some good stuff from your trip down here. Really like the composition and details look good for me. Exposure looks pretty good, but I may be tempted to make the whites a bit whiter if that makes sense. Great catchlight and look at the eye. TFS
Well done on EXP and sharpness. I'd wish for a bit of a head turn toward us.
with love, artie
Pretty nice. I have been there 3 times this year and have not had them perched up high any of the times. Well mostly have not looked either as have been concentrating on flight work. Love the dark blue background. These birds are an exposure nightmare. You have controlled the whites well but they are grayed out. Try reducing the blacks in the whites in selective color and see if that helps. Also the details are pretty good but I do wish for better. But consider this was shot with the Sigma zoom and the 5d4 I think you have done very well.
I love this. A bit more purer whites and you'll have a real winner here! After all these years seeing great photos from there that location still remains on my bucket list........
Excellent Capture. One day I hope to go to this place in winter.
I agree with the whites, but it can be corrected very easily as mentioned by Isaac.
