Northern Harrier
Location Details: Skagit Wildlife Area, WA (January 2019) It was a cloudy/overcast day. I saw this hawk circling over something in the marsh, and it let me get pretty close to it (40ft approx). :S3:
Tech: Canon 6D Mk2 @ 600mm (Sigma 150-600), f/6.3, 1/1000s, ISO 2000, Around a 1.4x Crop

Pose and eye contact are fantastic, but the image quality isn't quite there. Faster shutter would have helped, but you were already wide open and at ISO 2000.

Thanks Dorian! Yeah, IQ isn't great, but it was the best I could come up with. :c3: I have another image from that day that has better IQ which I'll post later.

The pose is nice and i like the background. Not tack sharp.

Thanks John! I'm going to test the 7DM2 soon, to see if its focusing is any better. I can't justify purchasing a 1DX or a 5DIV at the moment... :e3
