This looks better than the previous high ISO image, you have more detail in the coat and there is less noise throughout. If you felt inclined you could make a duplicate layer and denoise it further then mask the paler or all deer parts using a brush at differing opacity.
Figured I would come over to Wildlife and check things out. Have not looked here in quite a while. This looks excellent John for the ISO. A bit more NR on background would finish this off nicely.

Lovely portrait of this White-tail Buck, I like the eye contact and inquisitive pose:)
Subject is sharp and colours/tonality overall look very good. There seems to be a tiny blue cast on the nose and L side of the subject's face.
In terms of composition I suggest you take off a bit from the top - for better proportion, but also to eliminate to some extent the branch in the top right corner.
Very nice work, John. Looking good at 10.000 ISO. Have you already done some NR, I notice a small "blurred" patch on top of the subject's head, maybe blurring?
