Nice flight frame. Like the pose and the light. Nice background as well.

Killer Not just an owl, but an owl in flight! Beautiful details and love the varied background. Only thing I would do is to tone down the blue and cyan in the sky as it pulls the eye away for that amazing subject. The greens and browns of the trees are nice and muted but the blues are much more overpowering. Leveling them so they are the same would really help put the finishing touches on a beautiful photo. In hue/saturation I would select the cyans and reduce them by about 50 points, maybe more. You will have to see. Then lower the blue channel by 30-40 points. Seems like a bunch but I think it will tone them down nicely and keep the focus on the striking owl.

Ditto to all... Just wanted to add you've uniquely and perfectly imaged the eye of this species. Usually, it's a dark hole with catch light. You got the entire detail. TFS

Lovely work Juan, clarity, detail and with the suggestion from Isaac, I think this will be perfecto! I like the position of the owl and its upward flight path! Really nice...

Well done, Juan. I think about as perfect a image of a Barred Owl as it gets. I guess if mine I would have wished for more separation between the bird and background, but we capture the image with the conditions presented. Nice image, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. Following Isaac's suggestion, In the repost I brought the cyan down by 25 points and the Blues by 15, that way I preserved some blue on the sky. I hope you like this version better.

I love 'em both: super sharp with a great wing position.
