Phoebe on Fence
EOS R EF 400 DO(original) 1.4xtcII f5.6 1/620 ISO 320 560mm
I was chasing warblers at Ft Lauderdales oldest cemetery when this beauty flew right to the top of a nearby gravestone. I clicked quickly but this beauty was too small in the frame. I slowly approached just as this beauty flew to the top of the graveyard fence and allowed me this look. The OOF spider web between the other fence spires and the location just added to the halloween theme.

Very nice but for the fence ... The pose and head angle here work well.

These always perch on the wires in the garden. So i guess this is a practical image. Like the pose on the bird and that green background.

Hello David,
I like the pose of the bird.
Also, I am glad that someone else is also posting birds on fences :S3:
Here in the Karoo area of South Africa there are few trees and many birds perch on the fence or telegraph poles which leave us with no options.
Regards,
Rob
