I like the bokeh balls in the BG; makes for a unique scene. Would have been nice if the bird had more light on it.
I really like the bokeh in the BG, I just wish it extended all the way to the right. Pose and snow look good. I could see a version more silhouetted. I feel like maybe it needs a slight CWW rotation? I'm looking forward to getting out local gulls back. TFS
This is very pretty John. Kudos for thinking outside the box. I like everything here except the structure in the right side of the frame in the background. If you are OK with cloning then I would clone that out.
I like this a lot more than I thought I would. You went for something different and pulled it off. I agree with removing that piece at right side as per Isaac.
I like the sparkles, I wish they went across the frame. Maybe crop tighter to avoid that object?
Wonderful backlit image with that sparkling light and topside rim light. I also love the details of this beauty (even in the shade). Very creative and to my taste, you pulled it off. I guess in this image I would say the light and the bird are equally sharing the attention. TFS
Getting six inches higher would have improved this a lot. It would not take too much effort to lighten the subject. The rest as above.
