Love the low angle, moment of action (just plucked crawfish with water ripples and droplets), that you included the entire rippled reflection (of the bird) and love the low light reflection (from those water ripples) on the bird. Only wish you had a little more on the right to complete the outer ring of impact splash. The water surface is a big part of this story for me. Well caught moment.
Yea, this is a very fun image. The eye, mouth, prey, and splash really draw us into that part of the image. I'd actually love to have a tighter view of that bit of the image, but I totally understand the composition as present with the rings. I agree getting the rest of that outer-most ring would have been great.
Positives as noted. I do not like the wind-blown coverts. You might try opening up (lightening) the prey item.
