Good low angle and pose John. The breast looks a bit bright, perhaps could do with a little burning?
I really like your low POV and love the tern's toenail.
I wish the fish was turned the other way but certainly not a deal breaker.
Good BG.
I wish the tern was a bit more parallel to the sensor- the position feels a bit awkward to me.
Still a nice frame despite my critique!!

Interesting image, as Gail wrote.. love the toenails. The fish is added bonus. Not sure regarding the whites on the chest. I would check them in Lightroom, I like to keep my brightest whites no higher than 94% in Lightroom, that equates to 240-242 on the 0-255 scale. Thank you for sharing, John.
Hi John, excellent low perspective, and his catch a bonus. Nicely posed against the sea BG.
John, nice low angle, colors and subject , maybe a tad more room on the top for my taste, but overall very nice.

A bit tight in the frame, and I too wish the fish was pointing our way, but I love the low angle, exposure, warm light. Nice clean beach too.
Fancy looking Royal John. I like the HA, the look and of course the fish. Sweet light, well done
A little tight in frame, but not a deal brawler. Great low POV, and a nice pose from the bird
Mike
Nice bird, nice fish, nicely framed -- a bit more above would not have hurt, and sharp.
There are some WHITE RGB values in the low 250s. As I have been preaching on the blog, it is hard to show detail in very bright areas like that ...
For the repost I ran an 18% Linear Burn on the problematic area and then refined it with a Regular Layer Mask. All as detailed in Digital Basics II.
with love, a
