I haven't been shooting lately due to lot of stuff going on (New House).
This image was taken in Last Week Yellowstone Trip. This Trip was more of Family trip than one for Photography but I still took my D850 along with me.
Alas I could not see much Birds in Yellowstone though everyone said it is really great place for Nature Photography in general, May be I went in wrong time.
I am always torn whether to take D850 which I mainly use for Macro and Landscapes and D500 for Bird Photography. I hoped to photograph Geysers hence I decided to take D850.
I carried my 300 f/4 and TC's to photography wildlife.
Raven's were the only Birds I saw in this Trip and I made this image in parking lot when ever one went to saw Geysers. I stayed back to photograph these birds. This was the only decent Image I got before they flew away.
Subject was in Shade with bit of Side Lighting. I was crawling on the Footpath trying to get as low as possible when I took this image.
Hope you like it.
Nikon D850, 300 f/4 + 1.4x TCIII
ISO 1600, f/5.6, 1/2000 sec
Manual Mode, Matrix Metering
I think I underexposed it a bit but was able to raise shadows without much noise.
Post Processing:-
Raise Shadows, Added Canvas on all sides except Bottom.
Remove small distracting dark spot.
Nik Filter and Neat Image
