Great low POV and the blues in the BG look beautiful.
Exposure is spot on and I am impressed with the DOF you got at F5.6
I see what you were trying to do with your comp but I think I would prefer to see the bird centered and would consider a square crop.
I just wish we could see the head was raised a bit more so that we might have been able to see the eyes a bit better.

Lovely tern but for me the eyes are too buried and without the separation from the black head, I lose the "connection" i need to have in an image. BG is so nice, TFS
I like it. The only thing that bugs me is the whitish area by the right foot.
I like it too. My type of low angle and cool pose. You could try to carefully enhance the existing reflections in the eyes to make them more visible.
Love the ultra low POV, can't beat a bit of belly wriggling! I tried brightening the catchlights in the eyes and whilst subtle I found it really helped the shot with that final bit of polish
