Hi all,
Took this earlier today...one of my sharper "in flight" shots of this Kite. It was very windy and this made it difficult to hold the camera/lens still, so I'm happy. Would have liked to get closer, but 400mm is all I have.
Manual exposure, f5.6, 1/3200th sec, iso640. Cheers.
Hey Paul, What lens? What body? Nice red eye. Looks pretty sharp and the EXP is good. The shadow on the near under-primaries is unfortunate.

These guys can be quite confiding at times, though I agree, 400mm is rarely enough length. I hope you can get closer soon.
Flying slightly away from you in this case is not ideal.

No. I was referring to all of the primaries. They do appear somewhat in shadow but on a second look I might be wrong. Either way, opening them up a bit would help the image. Or not :)Quote:
