I like the story, with the other adult looking up at the incoming mate and stick. Well exposed. If the nest is on a natural setting, i.e. tree for example, a bit more of the nest would be nice. I suspect it is on a pole or man made structure, and had to be cropped to downplay that. I have done it also.
You might be able to lighten the shadows under the far wing a bit, to show more detail there.

The interaction is great. And is was great that the stick did not cover the adult's eye. But the image is very contrasty ... But it was sunny :)

The story-line showing the interaction is great.
In my opinion the yellow eyes of each bird blends the image together nicely.
Hi John, a nicely balanced comp, and great seeing the adult with the nesting material. I like how part of the nesting material is curved over the Osprey's head.
