I do most of my photography in the early mornings, so whilst photographing the Penquins in the late afternoon in Cape Town, I took a few grab shots of the Cape Cormorants as they flew overhead. I was standing on a raised platform just above the Penquins, so when these Cormorants flew by, they were a very close to eye level.

Love it Stu. Beautiful flight pose, colours and detail on the bird. My eye was immediately drawn to the birds eye. Looking good with that emerald colour surrounding the small pupil. I like your chosen crop and the POV is spot on. The blue sky in the BG with hints of cloud shows the bird real well. Not bad for a grab shot :S3: Well done
