I like the comp, whites well exposed, open mouth.
In a perfect world, I always strive for something in the bg to add a sense of depth, even a cloud, when possible. The gradual fall off of DOF on the wings does help does help some.
I agree that a catchlight helps in most cases, not quite sold on this one (take this with a grain of salt, as I am not a skillful catchlight creator!)
