Hi Will, I like the rim light on the chest and through the left foot. I do like the clean BG showing the soft light and pastel colours. I can see how you came up with your title, but IMHO, I feel the light bulb is a touch distracting. If this were mine, I would darken the Gull and perch to create more of a silhouette, but still leave the rim lighting. I may be totally off, but just sharing my thoughts.

I like the concept. This is the type of image that has some many possible interpretations. I would try Stu's recommendations, do a black and white version, etc. Fun!

I actually don't mind the light bulb, I just wish it was not so dirty. You can also try a version with a warmer WB.
