Good effort catching this little fellow. Too bad you had no time to adjust your exposure as the the photographs looks quite overexposed. Fortunately you had time to make a nice composition out of this....but the wood in the upper right is a bit too distracting for me.

Agree. Working off angle to the light almost always causes numerous problems with contrast and exposure. Next time this happens pray for a cloud!

I like the comp. The weasels head is right on a power point. It's also looking into the frame.. Ths nit with the lighting has been explained above.

I do so appreciate all the suggestions, there was a whole lot of luck catching this little fellow, and I am pleased that I did not totally blow my chance at him, I've only seen them 3 times with a camera in hand, this the second time I've caught one.
