One from the late summer. Shot this while camping/kayaking through the park from my kayak. This is a full frame shot. I did not expect him to pop up right there and to be honest got a bit scared. But I put my paddle down and decided to drift by motionless. He looked at me but after decided to ignore my presence.

Very nice angle and I really like it that you can see that you were in the water as well. The photograph does need some more space at the bottom however. That must have been a thrilling experience to be so close (and low) near such an impressive animal.

A beautiful bull moose in some sweet light. A bit more room at the bottom would be nice but this is great as is. FYI bull moose in velvet are quite docile so no need to worry....

Great capture from a kayak! I often try shots from my canoe, too, and know how difficult it is to get a sharp image. Was this hand-held or do you have some kind of mount that you use? I find this to be a pleasing composition, and I imagine that any more room at the bottom might have included part of your kayak.

Very nice image Tom. Good to see you posting here. I too would like to see a bit more room at the bottom of the image.
