Hand Tinted Monarch

Here I added a little more opacity to the Monarch's wings because it is the main focus of the compo. No tablet used, done with the mouse out of laziness :o

looking at it again I think a rough smudged edge on the image would take it over the top.

It almost looks "desaturated" instead of hand painted. It's a beautiful image - I, too, would love to see an edge around it - either a vignette or a frame. I think that would seal the deal!
