Captured last night, shortly before sunset. There seem to be more Harriers than usual at our local grassland preserve.

Super nice Bill, I like the habitat, the twilight capture, and the harrier pose. I even see blood on the left talon. Sharp, good HA. My suggestion is to have placed the hawk to the left rather than centered if you have the canvas. She's a beauty!
Liking this one a lot Bill, it has immediate appeal to my eyes. If I can get something anywhere close to this of our local harrier next year I will be EXTREMELY happy, congrats and TFS.
Nicely timed and great lighting.
Extra fine image, Bill. Great last rays of the day on her as she skims the tall dried grasses looking for dinner. Nice detail and like the dark BG.

Your best harrier frame to this date Bill. Love the light and the habitat plus the dark BG. It has all of my fav. Elements in a harrier frame
well done
Thanks for your comments, everyone.
I like the light, setting, dark BG and composition. Very well done Bill!
Thanks Jim.
Super nice frame Bill. Love the light background. I also would be thrilled to get a Harrier image even close to this next year.
Nice one Bill! The light is just right for that golden Harrier look that I also like. I like it all. The pose, the HA, the detail and the grasses. I agree, one of your best Harrier frames.
Thank you David and Robert. I've been waiting for years for a Harrier to come this close under these lighting conditions. I was very pleased when I saw this one approaching us.
Beautiful image.
Nice image love the up wing position & light.
Thank you John and John.
