Beautiful bird, details and BG, the insect makes it even better. I might give it more room top and bottom and clone out the little piece of wood at the bottom. Why did yo post this in this forum? I'd love to see this at 800 pixels. Thanks for sharing!

I, too am wondering why you've posted here. No matter what.....a beautiful bird....and with the bonus of lunch. I'm with Axel on a little more top/bottom room. Well done!

BG and colors are great, sharpness is fine and the food is a big plus.

Agree with Axel about the size and framing. Darkening the hotspot on the perch would improve the image also.
