A group of flamingos (Phoenicopterus ruber) ready to land. Brazo del Este, Sevilla, south of Spain. This one is from several years ago, using the slow 80-400VR and when I used to shoot jpeg. Would love to have the same scene but with my 300VR+1,4XT and shooting RAW.:p

Nothing wrong with it as is. Good use of a fine but slow lens.

A real nice image in its own right with nice color. My only wish would be for less overlap, especially in the front grouping of birds.

Great separation of the heads Juan. Lovely "look and feel". For some reason the birds remind me of ballet dancers. When I move my head up in relation to LCD monitor and lighten the image I can see some noise in the black wing areas. This is only just visible when I position my head so that the grey-scale calibration bar at the bottom of the window is just right.
Beautiful image!

Thanks for your comment guys.:)
Good eye John! you are right about the noise on the dark areas. The original file is an underexposed jpeg and I had a lot of work processing this file to extract as much information as possible and as result, the dark areas went noisey. Too bad that I was not using RAW at that time:(
