Playing with the snowy road again. This time in inverse. I did rotate the square as Michael suggested and came up with a totally different look. Also cloned a bit to eliminate blotches of solid color. I tried flipping the final but it seemed better with the trunks on top.

Very cool images Hazel! I like the one on black the best. It has more depth.

The rotation really made a difference. The curved trunks give it a lot of energy. It's interesting, too. seeing the inverses beside each other. The yin and yang in the title makes me wonder how it would work if there were a single circle with the top being the upper half of the black-on-white version and the bottom being the lower half of the white-on-black one after it were rotated 180 degrees.

hmmmmm worth thinking about, Dennis. I'll see what I can do. I'm on the road for a couple weeks, so will check on that when I get home to my "real" computer.

Very clever to have these opposite images. I like seeing them together and comparing them. The B&W presentation makes one focus on the interesting lines. I wonder what it would look like to flip one horizontally?
