Canon 5DM1, Canon 24-105@105, f13, 1/1000, ISO 400. Slight crop for composition. No special processing.
I liked the curves and lines. I even think I see a human form.

Beautiful complementary colors! Yeah, the desert is the best place to compose using curves. Where is this taken?
Beautiful shapes, comp. Love the little touch of green (in a desert!). Am wondering, though, with no processing other than a slight crop, if this belongs more in the landscape forum?
Douglas,
Greetings. Beautiful color and lines. I particularly like the variation and pattern in the sand. I think if there were some texture to the sand it would bring out these patterns to good effect. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,

I agree. Great curves and lines. I am surprised there was no processing. I also really like the contrast andtexture in the sand.
I didn't mean to imply that there was no processing applied. Just that nothing like special filters etc. The image was pretty bland and muddy looking before increasing the White slider and decreasing the Black slider. Adding some dehaze helped. And, contrast was also increased.
OH, ok. I was just going by your first comments. I do like the photo. Nice work, as I said.
Hi, Douglas, welcome to OOTB! I love this - the abstract quality, especially the curves and the diagonals. Have you tried this as a black and white? I wonder how it would look as a variation? I hope to see you posting more here:S3:
It has a lovely, silky feeling and great curves -- I love it!
Lovely. The sand seems to glow. I like it's silky look. Beautiful curve and contrast with the blue sky. Welcome!
I really like the composition as well as the colors and the "look" of the sand that resulted from your processing. Nice work!
