My name is Marilyn Caven and I have lived in Santa Rosa, CA all my life. My friend Diane Miller has been nudging me to join BPN for some time now and I have finally taken the plunge.
I enjoy nature photography of all types but especially enjoy the challenge of capturing rapture images and breathtaking landscapes.
Diane tells me there is a lot to be learned and appreciated on this forum, so I look forward to the privilege of reading your experiences and seeing your images.
I hope I'm posting this to the correct forum.
Best regards,
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, welcome to BPN!! Yes, this is a great place to learn and grow as a bird photographer. Diane offers really solid and friendly advice, and so do many others. The scariest step to post an image online is the first one, so plunge in and you will feel at home in no time :-)

Hey, Marilyn -- welcome!!! I just saw your post here today -- as you know I've been running around like crazy the last few days (sometimes even with a camera) and have fallen way behind here.
