I haven't been out in the last two weeks or so, as I'm recovering from a health issue.
I might go out on Thursday.

I like the singing pose and the habitat.Nice and sharp and catchlight in the eye. I wish the OOF branch wasn't there on the left side and the OOF element would not "touch" the tail on the right side. TFS.
I like the double perch, singing pose, sharpness, complimentary colors and composition. Excellent image Karl!
Good one, Karl. Great singing pose and lovely habitat. I particularly like the color of the bird's epaulet matching the cattails. I don't mind the cattail "touching" the tail -- it is OOF enough not to bother me -- but the darker OOF branches on the left are a minor distraction. Not enough to seriously harm a lovely image. Hope your recovery is progressing and that you get out again.
Beautiful subject and capture Karl. Ideally, the darker branches on the left wouldn't be there, but that's a very minor quibble. This image is excellent. Hope you are over the health problem soon and back out in the field.
Lovely image of the not so stunning female. Great perch and calling pose. You've done a great job on diminishing the impact of the branches on the left.
She is really full of herself with that puffed up pose. Nice attitude captured. I like the strong diagonals created by the cattails, but am not in love with the dark branches. Would be easy enough to remove, if you feel like it. Feel better, hope you get out on Thursday!
Great theme subject.Vegetation looks OK to me.
Good stuff

Beautiful image Karl. I hope you get better soon. I love the way the bird is posing, and the lovely colours throughout.

All looks good to me. Quite a Stunner.
Let's hope health issue resolves quickly.
Natural colours and singing pose make it for me Karl, hope you are soon well.
Keith.
She's a sharp beauty, Karl. Very much like her calling pose, and perch. Nicely captured.

Thank you all.
Great looking frame for the theme Karl. The pose and the classic cattails looks perfect. Take care of your self.
Like the color palette here and the operatic performance. She's a sweet one singing away. Id consider removing the branches it distracts from the cattails... feel better, the birds need you out there!
Excellent image with wonderful color scheme. Very nice calling pose. Beautiful diagonal perch and environment.
Superb details and great composition.

Satish.
