This was taken from my backyard last week. I was going out to the lake to see how thick the ice was and saw this guy in my neighbours tree. I went and got the camera out of the car and got a couple of images. Although the bird is flying away from me I was glad that it kept an eye on me. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Good job Jim grabbing your gear and firing away on the fly. prize on the eye and i like the gradient BG, and exposure is right on the money. very nice frame!

good exposure and I like the BG, a tad soft to my eye. wish he wasn't flying away from us but the look back makes up for it :S3:

The shooting angle is not the best but you had a nice head turn, Jim.

It made me look twice what was going on here...the body angled away, but a nice head turn and eye contact on you. Certainly an interesting image. TFS.

I like it, Jim. Flying away from you, yes, but that look back saves it , in my opinion. I like the cold winter feel. Any more detail in the face?

I know it's been well covered Jim but that look back pose is classic.
