Never tire of seeing this LBRs. This is a nice pose with a good head angle, and although the light is quite contrasty you've handled it well. One minor nit would be I'd have considered cloning out the out of focus branch just to the side of the left foot (as we look).

I agree with everything that Mike said. I will never get tired looking at this bird. How hard is it to find this bird at the NP?
Sanjeev the colour and detail on this is superb, agree with the others Rollers are one of my favourites and this is a great example .

Amazing variety of colors in this bird, all complimented by the light blue sky. Very nice details and composition.
Hi Sanjeev, always good to get shots of these as they are so beautiful, both static and in flight and I for one would stop every time to get an image of one of these. Love the ones in India too, just as colourful, hope to get some in May/June in Bots again. :S3:
I like the position in frame looking left and the softer/rounded vegetation makes a nice change from the spiky Acacia. Techs look good, but I think you can get a bit more from within the RAW, that's the beauty of shooting RAW. I would look at some HSL adjustments, I also did some Colour Balance in all three Tonal ranges after exporting from LR. I think it takes a bit of yellow out but gives/provides a cleaner colour to the BKG I think? I added a tad more Exp (dropped) at the foot with a hint more Clarity too, all via the ACR/PS filter, WDYT?

Thanks a lot Steve for the RP, yes it does look better and the colours seem more 'accurate' but this was shot in a bit of golden light hence the yellowish tone in my image. Overall, your RP has certainly improved the image. :cheers:
