Lovely neat image Adrian that's as nice a Nuthatch as I've seen for a long time, snow also looks really nice.

Very nice Adrian.
It is nice to see a nuthatch on a different "perch"!Snow looks nice.
IQ is excellent.
The bird could use a bit more punch-I would go to selective coloring then select "neutrals" and add 1 point of black.
I like your comp-bird is a nice size within the frame. I could also see a version with a1 cm off the RHS and 1/2 cm off the bottom.
I would also clone out the specular highlight to the left of the nuthach near LHS of frame.
Well done,
Gail

Small nits covered but a smashing image Adrian. They seem to love the snow- don't know why ?

Great little nuthatch. Nice eye and catchlight with head angle just right and tilted up nice and proud. Excellent details in the feathers. I love the perch, he picked the highest little lump of snow.

Lovely shot Adrian colours spot on and great detail, I think I would go for just a little more crop as Gail suggested.

Adrian:
Handsome fellow, working just off the sun angle gave a little extra 'form' to the bird, agree about a sliver more in the blacks.
Crop works for me, but if the IQ will tolerate, Gail's rec. would work nicely as well.
Cheers
Randy

Hi Adrian yes i agree a need shot of this species . Would have been great to go lower like your other recent postings for that nice low POV , but for sure not always possible .
I think the birds and the snow can stand a bit more tonal depth , more on the bird though .
