Last spring we had a very good wildflower bloom in my area (Southern California) and my wife and I were in a field of coreopsis, these little yellow flowers. It was late afternoon and our shadows were stretching across the carpet of flowers. I took out my cell phone and made this picture, intending for it to be "artsy". I didn't realize until I got home and saw it on the computer that we had made a heart shape between our heads. I added some diffusion and a texture.

This is one of those times when shadows are very effective in a portrait, and the heart is a great touch. That curved array of flowers above your heads is another good element. Very well done. Nifty title, too.

This indeed turned out wonderful with your shadows! Wonderful "love" symbolism with the "heart" between your heads and all the surrounding flowers. You should make this into a Valentine's card and give it to your wife!

Awesome! Wonderful details both in the shadows and sun -- not easy to do. I love it!!

What a beautiful "accident" you created. A green valentine. Thanks for the story behind it and the love it conveys. Hearts and flowers....can't get more sentimental in February than that. Nice.

Lovely and sweet. The heart is a bonus. I love the shadows on the field of flowers. I wonder about increasing contrast a bit? Lovely valentine.
