Just took this at Viera Flats and would like your opinion.

Welcome to BPN. Here's my opinion. Nice serene image due to the still water and reflection. Nice colors and light as well. The bird (especially the head/eye) looks like it could use a bit more sharpening. I'd personally go for a tighter crop, taking more off the top and left edge (as viewed). I'd also clone out the big dead leaf in the water behind him and the two rolled up ones in the front. I think the smooth water is a big plus in this image and I'd remove them only for that reason.

Great big welcome to BPN, don't know if we have met at Viera, if not, hope to meet you in the field sometime!
Very nice habitat with difficult light, good still reflection and background, I may have walked to the right a little more to create more separation between the bird and and vegetation.

The repost is a nice improvement. In this kind of light fill flash would help.
