Hello I am new to the site.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I am new to the site, just got approved to be part of the community and looking forward to leaning many more things into the future. I got into photography about eight years ago after seeing Bald Eagles in the St Louis area. All I had was a point and shoot which was frustrating. So my adventure began--totally self taught by making many mistakes and reading everything I can get my hands on.

I have attached one of my favorite Bald Eagle pictures as my intro. It was taken at Horseshoe Lake State Park, near Granite City, IL. Hope you like it and look forward to the interaction of this forum.
