Full frame and had to add a sliver of canvas at the top because I had to level the image slightly.
PP: leveled, sliver of canvas added at the top, usual LR5 sliders, then in CS5 used levels, DE at 2% on duck, NR to BG and USM to JPEG.

I like the blurred wings, HA, calm water, IQ, complimentary BG, water drops and composition. The top of the image over the duck needs a little more work, I can see a thin line up there. Beautiful image Gail!
Perfect upright wingflap pose and head angle. Great water color, nice light. Drops add to it. Great detail and your usual fine IQ. Jim's right about the top, although I wouldn't have noticed. Blurred wings make it dynamic, which is fine; but my personal taste would have been for just a little more SS, except that it seems you were pushing the limit of available light.
I think this is a outstanding photo. I am blown away how well the newer telephoto lens handle the tele-converters. Nice photo
Great post - can't ask for much more than both wings so far back. As ever, I love low POV shots, so this appeals to me. My only nit would be some of the whites on the wings look a little hot to me.

Hi Gail, love the low perspective here, and with a wingflap, if you dont manage the forward wing position, the full swept back wing position works just as well. I do like the flying droplets. Tack sharp, and Im on my laptop, so cant comment on the whites, but there is detail there.
Great wing flapping pose captured, Gail. The top where you added canvas might need fixing as it has some little white lines in it.
Ideal wingflap position, Gail. Love the light, and sharp detail with just the right blur on the wings. That light blue band reflected behind adds to the quality of this wonderful image.

Lovely shot, I see the line at the top but I wouldn't have done so had it not been mentioned. Lovely pose excellent exposure - love it!
The IQ on this duck's head and body is amazing, and I love the water droplets and BG.

I do not have the RAW on my computer so did not repost an amended version as I have to dig it out of my external hard drive.
