Hi everyone,
Since I’ve been quite busy lately and did not have any time to go out shooting, I am posting an image previously posted at the Eager to Learn forum.
I hope you like it.
Hopefully I will be out in the open again tomorrow so wish me luck.
Thanks for viewing,
Kalin
Edit:
Hi Stu, I apologize for not posting details about the capture. I forgot them.
Here they are:
Nikon D3, 300 mm f/2.8 @ f/3.5
1/3200, ISO 200
Slight corrections in levels, reduction of the brightness of the white spot on the head. A bit of colour adjustment because the image was kind of too warm.

Hi Kalin, well timed for the perching, and you have captured a great wingspread. The colours are spot on, good sharp detail on the head and body, and great that the beak didnt overlap on the far wing. We ask that you post your shooting info on every image posted - camera model, lens, shutter speed and aperture at time of capture. Looking forward to more and hope you continue to participate on a regular basis. Dont forget to comment on other members images too.

Wow there isn't an awful lot wrong with that is there? The fanned wings and the super sharp head make for a really eye catching image, the lighting colours background and perch are sublime - well done!

Hi Kalin,
I like the smooth soft BG, the dynamic wing positions and the sharp details. HA is quite good too. the light was a tad on the harsh side here and this the shadows which are just a bit distracting, reducing the contrast and brightening the image a tad could help here

Nice HA and you have a tack sharp head and nice feather details. Arash gave you some good advice to improve an already nice image!
