These little birds only show themselves very fleetingly so lucky to get two.

Great looking birds (that I'd love to see) in a beautiful setting that looks like a Chinese painting. I only wish the RH bird was looking at us, but tough to get two birds to cooperate.
Very lovely photo of gorgeous birds.
Very well done David, agree with Bill re the painting, I know they are not easy, very nice work.
Keith.
Killer setting, nice use of DOF.....
Gorgeous image. Love the light on the whole scene and the oof background, and yes you are very lucky to get two out in the open. Well done with this image.
Beautiful setting - those grasses are very appealing!! Bummer the right bird did not have a better head angle (and be a little sharper). But you say you are lucky to get two in the frame so bonus points for that. Comp works well enough, you could come in a bit from the left as an option.
Well done indeed David. Superb back drop- just the way I like em !!

Hi David, good double here, and good eye contact from the bird on the left. I love their moustache detail on the faces, and the busy grass perches works well in the comp.
