A lot of interesting elements in this image! I like the take off pose, feather patterns, setting and composition. Very well done Gerald!
The surroundings sure are fun to study. Colours and patterns are really neat! Then you place an owl in there just to make it even more pleasing to view. Good composition, details. Well done.

I would darken the mid tones in the bird only and would sharpen the bird only a little more.

This is one heck of an image with amazing environment and Karl brought it up to an even higher level with his adjustments. The take off pose is phenomenal and the color palette is exceptional.
