Great light and color palette. The owlet looks a little freaked out about the whole flying/landing thing which adds interest.
Great looking flight shot Arash. Love the feather details and the BG color. Really shows how well they match their environment. The only problem I have with this frame is that I wish we could see the eye a bit better :eek3: Very nice.
Great sharpness and nice habitat! Excellent light too.
Great banking pose with excellent head turn, Arash. IQ is first class.
A touch more contrast would work for me.
Perfect eye contact...
Hi Ari, love the light in this, and very well timed to get the head turn. I really like the flight pose, tack sharp, and nicely separated from the BG. Great work.
I love the warmth and the habiat. Good pose too. I can just imagine had the far eye also been at least a bit visible, but this frame if highly enjoyable as is.
Thanks everyone, for burrowing owls I have a feeling that a lone eye perfectly visible works better than a partial view of the far eye, I have a few frames like that but favor this one personally. For a view of both eyes I like the frames that are perfectly head on and symmetric
thanks for comments
Another winner for the reasons already mentioned. I agree that a single eye usually works better than having a partial second eye in shot

One big eye is good. Nice details and wing position. Hope our colony comes back next spring
