I like the concept, but the membrane sort of spoils it for me. I think it may be a bit over sharpened too.
Nice composition, but I like an open eye...:eek: also there is noise in your background and the bird is a wee bit over sharpened...:cool:
.... can also add I wish the head was parallel !!! Real nice image and definitely out of the box !!!
