One of the most difficult birds to capture around here, such a busy body and very skittish. Even the local Gymnogene is a lot more "accommodating"...
I have given up on photographing this species, I see a Hoopoe on the lawn every morning when I open the windows, but as soon as he sees movement he flies away, LOL.
Very cute preening pose and lovely details, as well as colours - I have to congratulate you for this, super capture and PP work is excellent:)
