The feather

This male great bustard (Otis tarda) is from my weekend at La Serena (West of Spain) and it is part of the results after 14 hours in the hide. This guy is at least eight year old, a bird in fully adult plumage. We call this kind of individuals "barbones" in spanish due to the beards (barbas) they have. A magnificent bird of the size of a domestic turkey.

BTW, I am still processing on an uncalibrated monitor and waiting for the repairing of my main monitor so comments about colour are strongly appreciated

The colours are well balanced.
