Love the owl but not crazy about the post - would be over the moon to get a shot of this owl out in the open during the day.
I would crop to just above your name to minimize the impact of the post and I would also lighten it a bit via dodging or lifting the shadows to bring the greens out.
Was your SS really 1/5000? Must have been in the middle of the day if yes.
