Hi Tim, the chick looks great, so young, sharp, low POV. The only suggestion I have is to tone down the bright blue bands in the BG as they are a bit distracting. Loi
Hi Tim,
I really like the subject, composition, snail's eye view, and especially the shadow the bird cast.
You may want to consider lowering saturation, as the bright blue bands Loi mentioned, and the legs seem to pop a bit much. I see subtle noise in the foreground and background transition areas. Perhaps tweaking sharpening and/or noise reduction can help.
Overall, love you shot! Great work Tim :)
Nice low angle shooting, the bird looks excellent, Tim.
It is a real cutie.
I should go there next year and try my luck.
Tim great getting low good details nice colours one thing about photographing at water edges is that you will get those bands in the BG could go a bit darker but its how you saw it
A sweet shot, with great detail and low POV. Scaling back both the saturation and the sharpening would help it, IMO.
Great low angle you achieved here and you have so many feather details. The bright colors and bands work well here. Your subject stands out so well.
A great look at this sweetie pie! I like the layered BG.
I would definitely back off on the sharpening of the chick, lower the saturation in the blues a little but and crop from the bottom to the line on your signature.
This is an excellent image and these few tweaks in PP would elevate this image to another level,
Gail
PS I would also burn or eliminate the bright white shell to the right of the chick
