This is Ebony, I named her the night my wife found her beside a dark country road in 2011, in the late evening after tending to her horse.
Ebony was adopted via our Sydney Cat Rescue friends through us about two months later and broke my wife's heart.
Two months ago, the lady who adopted her with her husband (now ex) contacted me asking if we were willing to take her back due to
her change in personal circumstances.
"Is the Pope a Catholic?" was my question. 'Of course!'
So now we're up one cat. Except Leila has not yet accepted the newcomer into her pack.
This is my fave pic of Ebony while she was with us before her fur-ever home. She is obviously an educated feline.
Then she came back. Like a boomerang.

How cute! She's a lucky kitty! I hope Leila will accept her. In our limited experience, newcomers finally end up being best of friends.
Cats love to read. Preferably under a nice warm desk lamp. Our favorite airport shop cat was reading an Allison turbine engine overhaul manual one day. Studiously.

Nifty cat Akos, and with the book, it is obvious that Ebony is a "learned" cat.
I have the strong feeling that you will never be at a loss for good friends, and that you will always help those in need! Keep it up!

Ooooh.... an almost-sad story... with a wonderful outcome! She is certainly a beauty!
