Photo painting using Topaz Impression with 2 different presets combined on layers. The golf course is located on top of a mountain not too far from my sister's house. Viewed from below on a fairly close road. Normally the grass would be green but the area has been in drought conditions since last winter and most homes and businesses had brown grass in the whole area.
Judy...very nice treatment of both the golf course and the sky. I like the way that both the composition and the repeating colors lead my eyes from foreground to background to clouds.

The brown grass makes this image more interesting than if it had been green, providing contrast. Great scene. Beautiful clouds. Excellent treatment. Love it. The trees on each side provide a subtle frame. The rounded shapes repeat from greenery, to brown grass, to superb clouds. I wouldn't change a thing.

A perfect little painting that you might see on a wall in a house, like your own! I like the effect that you got with the two different presets, I've been trying some of that lately too. It's a fun plugin to use. Nice framing by the trees and proportion of sky to earth. The cloud formation fits just perfectly in the sky. Good one!
