This is my favorite La Push beach sunset image. I mainly just intensified the colors including using split-toning in Lightroom. S-T works great for sunset images.
This part of the beach is actually in a cove and the waves are not very big in case you are wondering why they don't break like normal on this side of the rocks and wall. I should also add it was pretty chilly there!

Lovely! The colors look great to me also. I like this image better than your previously posted image of this beach. This one seems more balanced, perhaps because of the inclusion of the rocks in the distance on the right horizon. The silhouetted rocks/islands make the gorgeous colors stand out more. Great shot!

Thanks Diane! Yes I discovered the creative uses of split-toning color photos several years ago by trying it on my sunsets. I rarely use it in Lr for black and white since I use Silver Efex and Exposure 7 in Photoshop on them.

Agree with all of the above, plus I especially like that the glorious sunset colors are captured & reflected in the water, creating a very lovely & balanced foreground and bkgd for the silhouetted rocky islets and trees.
