Hi, Mitch, the sky especially reminds me of a Van Gogh. It looks cold!!! Heat index here is 102 degrees so it looks inviting.:S3:
A lovely breath of cool air!! (Well, maybe COLD...)
That sky also made me think of Van Gogh! Those outward spreading sky lines add to the feeling of a fast moving boat. Love how you worked the filters on this image! Great composition with the deeply curved foreground & water and the sky somewhat echoing the opposite curve, and the bright boat well placed going into the image and balancing the bright sun. Heat index here also over 100 degrees F.
The sky and the colours are wonderful. I like the sail illuminated by the sun and the light on the rocks. Lovely work.
