OK. I'll go first again. This is the Peruvian Pelican (Pelicanus thagus), taken on a foggy morning in Lima several weeks ago. He is almost twice the bulk of our Brown Pelican, and like his cousin, he is striking in his breeding plumage. We were not there during breeding season, but I rather like the more subdued coloration of the non-breeding bird shown here. C&C always appreciated.

Hi Bill,
I really like the vertical pano on this one - looks great.
You certainly have made some great images on your South American expedition!

Like this portrait a lot, Bill. Nice capture of the beak centered on his neck. I'm liking the muted colors too. Turns out the overcast/foggy morning provided us with some pleasing light.

Hi Bill, this is excellent. I really like the detail on the Pelican, and also the way you have captured the slight angle of the head and bill. A vertical comp was the only way to go, and a great high key BG.

Hi Bill very nicely handled HK frame. Like the pano crop and that my eye can wonder from top to bottom. Well processed with the right tones and lovely soft colors.

Nice high key image and I really like the monotone look to the bird with the pop of color of the orange bill. Perfect comp and details too. Well done

This is a pretty unique, powerful and thought-provoking image. Love the high key here, and you did a great job with PP and choosing the comp.
