On the last morning at Mashatu, we finally caught the cheetah family on the move in the early morning hours when the light was good.

Cropped mostly tom top, a little bit from the other 3 sides.

Hi Loi -- Lovely settings ! nice details and the pink little flowers are adding to the image ! The face of the Cheetah appears a bit bright , BKG is somewhat not clean enough but it is not a deal breaker ! curious to know what is that white thing in the FG ? appears to be a piece of plastic or paper !
Hi Loi - I like the pensive pose and the comp here. Exp and dof work well here. I agree with Haseeb about the white thing but not about the bg or the brightness. :Whoa!: I know you like your images on the warmer side but for me there's a reddish cast that I would reduce.

Hi Rachel, there was a little red cast due to the early morning sun. I just used Auto WB in DPP4. Which browser are you using? On Chrome browser, it looks very Red. On Safari, just a hint of Red.Quote:

Loi -I brought it into PS so browser doesn't matter. It's just a hint of red but if it were mine I would still reduce it. Btw I'm not sure what using auto in DPP4 does but in the past using auto with Canon tended to add red and yellow.

Mashatu was wonderful, given your sightings! I like the pose from the cheetah and the vegetation, especially the little red flowers:)
Framing is great, the comp works for me. I could be wrong, but it feels as if you added a filter in PS - I would reduce the warmth on the cheetah if this were mine, the subject would stand out more against the rich BG.
