I went down to South Texas to see and photograph some exotic birds. Mourning doves are common where I live, but I took a number of frames of them because they happened by while the light was very good. Here's a portrait of one.

Hi Doug, I like everything in your photo except the bottom part of the frame...the dove seems to dangle out of the corner. I'd suggest a crop such as here to give it a wider base to sit on.
