A warbler of some kind, I think perhaps a Reed Warbler but could be a Marsh Warbler.

Hi David
Nie singing pose on the Burdock. Its a Sedge Warbler by the way.
Cheers
John
Hi John. Thanks for the ID. I couldn't make my mind up as to whether it was a dark marking across the eye or a shadow caused by it's beak.
I like how the perch fits in the frame, bright beak and loose composition. I would clone out the three bits suspended in a web because the web connections aren't totally visible. The throat chest area looks a little bit bright. Nice image David.
Hi David, I like your choice of comp with the diagonal flow of the reeds. Well timed to capture the open beak. If it was possible, moving to your left would have given you even light on the bird.
David the eye stripe and the orange mouth together with the song will help identify the sedge v other warblers.
Lovely pose and composition. I may be tempted to lower the brightest highlights on the neck if possible, I suspect it would reveal a little more detail.
